1.   We found the staff really friendly and the room basic but clean. we had a room on the top floor from which you could see the Eifel tower from the window above the other buildings on the square. The beds were a bit old but you could tell that the sheets and towels (provided) were all clean and fresh. Reviewer has requested to be kept anonymous.   2.   located in a lovely area, right beside the 'republique' metro station; friendly staff; nice breakfasts; cosy rooms; internet access. basic, but ideal if you are planning to spend most of the time outside of the hotel, exploring Paris. surrounded by little boutiques, pubs and cafes, with a supermarket and a McDonalds directly beside. ideal for backpackers or those looking to do Paris on a budget Reviewer has requested to be kept anonymous.
